Use a referral code

I want to …

… share my referral code or redeem someone else's.

Before you start

  • You can create your own code only with a paid plan.
  • Lifetime accounts do not see this tile.

Here's how

  1. Open Settings and tap the referral row in the Plan block. You land on Invite friends.
  2. With active Pro or Ultra: tap Create invite code if you do not have one yet.
  3. Copy the code and send it on. The other person gets a longer Pro trial.
  4. If that person later subscribes, you receive credit – up to five times a year.
  5. You enter someone else's code during the first plan setup, not in this screen. The plans page mentions the longer trial when the code applies.
  6. You can also attach the same longer trial to a workspace invitation, without handing out the code. See Gift Pro time with an invitation.

The result

Your code is ready to copy. New people start with more trial time, and you can earn credit.

Common questions

Why is Create invite code disabled?

Your account is not paid. Free without an active subscription cannot create a code.

Do invitation gifts use up my code?

They use their own budget of five gifts per year, and they create your code in the background if you do not have one yet.
