Park links for later
I want to …
… close tabs without losing their links, and find them again when they matter.
Before you start
- The parking lot is yours alone. Nobody else in a workspace sees it, not even owners or admins, and it is the same in every workspace.
- It works on every plan and for every role. Free holds up to 30 links; Pro and Ultra have no practical limit.
Here's how
- Open
Notes. UnderCollectionsits the rowParking lotwith the subtitleNot now. Not never. The number on the right counts the links that are still lit. A small light next to it means a link fades within 3 days. - Tap the row. The parking lot opens. In the web app and in the iPhone, iPad, and Android app, a note at the top shows how to park from there. Its button or the cross (
Close) ends it on this platform; the⋯menu keeps the same ways. - Paste a link into
Paste a linkand press Enter, or tap the return arrow at the end of the field. The message saysParked;Undotakes it back. Addresses that start withwww.work too. - To park many links at once, open
⋯at the top and choosePaste links, or paste text with several links into the field. Paste any text with links: a list of tabs, Markdown, or a message. The sheet shows how many it found, for example120 links found, which of them are parked already, and what does not fit. TapPark all. Up to 500 links go in one go; paste the rest afterwards. - On Free, the count against the limit sits above the field, for example
12/30. When the lot is full, a hint offersUpgradeandLet go of all faded. - Each link shows its title, its host, and when you parked it. Below it a light line burns down over 30 days.
- Tap a link to open it. On a phone it opens in the in-app browser, so no new browser tab piles up.
- Swipe a link to the right to
Keepit: it is lit for another 30 days. Swipe it to the left toLet go. Both offerUndo. - On a phone, press and hold a link for its menu; on desktop, click its three dots. The menu has
Do it,Attach …,Keep,Let go,Copy link, and on phonesOpen in browser.Attach …hangs the link on an existing task or note; see "Attach a parked link to a task or note". - After 30 days a link fades and moves under
Faded. Faded links are gone for good 30 days later.Let go allnext to that header clears them at once, and the⋯menu at the top offers the same asLet go of all faded. - Parking a link that is already there adds no twin. It lights up again instead:
Already parked. Lit again. - Tap the magnifier at the top to search titles and hosts.
- Tap the shuffle icon (
Random) at the top to go through your links one at a time, withDo it,Keep, andLet go.
The result
Tabs can close. What you parked stays easy to find for 30 days and fades away on its own once it no longer matters.
Common questions
Why is the parking lot gone in Hyperfocus?
Hyperfocus hides Notes, and the parking lot with it, so no new rabbit hole opens while you focus.
Does Zeitlicht load the pages or their icons?
No. Titles come from what you paste or share. The letter in front of each link is the first letter of its host. No page is fetched.
Why does the address look different from what I pasted?
Zeitlicht removes tracking parameters such as utm_source or fbclid and text markers such as #:~:text=. The rest stays as it was.
What happens to my parking lot when I delete my account?
It is deleted with your account.
Why does nothing fit on Free?
Free holds up to 30 links, and faded ones count until they are gone. Let them go to make room, or switch to Pro.
