Filter the board

I want to …

… narrow the board to a topic, a person, or a tag.

Before you start

  • Filters hide cards. They do not delete anything.
  • In Done, an active filter often shows visible/total.

Here's how

  1. Open Board. The app bar holds the filter pills Topic, Assignee, and Tag.
  2. Tap Topic. A menu lists every topic plus All.
  3. Pick one or more topics. The pill stays active until you choose All again.
  4. Tap Assignee and pick the person whose cards you want. Unassigned shows cards with no assignee.
  5. Tap Tag and pick one or more tags.
  6. The three filters combine: a card must match every active filter.
  7. To reset, open the menu and choose All.

The result

The board shows only cards that match the topic, person, and tag. The other cards stay in the workspace; they are just hidden.

Common questions

Do filters survive if I close the app?

Yes. The selection is stored with your board preferences on this device and comes back next time.

Do I still see a filtered-out Focus task?

Only if the Focus task matches the filter. If it does not, Focus looks empty even though the task is still there.
