Open linked elements
I want to …
… jump from a task or note to the targets it links to.
Before you start
- Links come from the editor triggers or the toolbar.
- Tags and people do not open a page of their own.
Here's how
- Open the task or note that holds the link.
- The pill row sits under the text. Each pill shows the target name.
- Tap a task pill. That task's detail screen opens.
- Tap a note pill. That note's editor opens.
- Tap a topic pill. You land on the topics list.
- Further down on a task,
Linked elementslists the same set. Tapping there opens the target too. - Tag and person pills stay visible but do not navigate.
The result
You move between connected tasks, notes, and topics without searching.
Common questions
The pill goes nowhere.
The target was deleted. Remove the link in the text and save.
