Add a column

I want to …

… add a new column on the board and choose its type.

Before you start

Here's how

1. Open Board.
2. Tap the plus icon Add column at the top right – a rectangle with a vertical line, as if you were adding a column.
3. In the dialog, enter a Column name, for example Review.
4. Under Column type pick the type:
   • Standard – a regular work column.
   • Backlog – a holding area, usually on the left.
   • Focus – holds exactly one task and drives the timer.
   • Done – completed cards; you cannot freely reorder inside this column.
5. Confirm with Create or save.
6. To rename or change the type later: tap the three-dot menu in the column header and choose Edit.
7. To delete, use the same menu and Delete column. If Focus still has a task, move it first.
