Move tasks

I want to …

… put a task in another column or reorder it inside the same column.

Anyone who can edit content can move cards: Owner, Admin, and Member.
On a touchscreen: press and hold, then drag. With a mouse: a short hold or a few pixels of movement starts the drag.

Open Board.
On a phone: put your finger on the card and hold until it lifts, then drag.
With a mouse: click the card, hold for about a fifth of a second or move it a few pixels, then drag.
Drag to the left or right edge of the board if the target column is off-screen. The board scrolls with you.
Drop the card on the top of a column, between two cards, or on the drop zone at the bottom. A line shows the insert position.
You can drop cards into Done, but you cannot reorder them there.
If you move a second task into Focus, the previous Focus task leaves the column. A short notice explains this.

The card sits in the new column or at the new position. The timer follows only the task that is now in Focus.

Why does the task open instead of dragging?

You tapped too briefly. Hold a little longer before you move.

Can I move several cards at once?

No. Exactly one card moves at a time.
