Add a board

I want to …

… add another board inside the workspace you already have.

Before you start

  • You need the Owner or Admin role. Members do not see New board.
  • Free allows one board. Pro and Ultra have no board cap.
  • A new workspace already contains one board, named like the workspace, with the columns Bunch, Week, Today, Focus, and Done.

Here's how

  1. Open Board and tap the board title (the name with the down arrow).
  2. Tap New board.
  3. If your plan is Free and this workspace already has a board, Zeitlicht opens the plans instead of the dialog.
  4. Otherwise enter a Board name and confirm with Create.
  5. The new board opens. It starts with the same five columns and with task modules turned off. Turn modules on later under Board settings if you want them on new tasks.

The result

The workspace has another board. Topics, tags, notes, and members are still shared. Cards on the new board are separate.

Why did New board open the plans?

Free includes one board per workspace. Pro and Ultra add more.
