Delete a workspace

I want to …

… permanently delete a workspace and all of its data.

Before you start

  • Only the Owner sees Delete workspace.
  • The board, notes, files, and memberships of this workspace go with it.

Here's how

  1. Open Settings in that exact workspace.
  2. Scroll in the Workspace block to Delete workspace.
  3. Read the notice: the workspace and all of its data will be gone.
  4. Tap Delete workspace.
  5. Type the workspace name exactly as it is. Only then does delete become active.
  6. Confirm. You land in another workspace or on the create-first screen.

The result

The workspace no longer exists. Other workspaces stay untouched.

Common questions

Can an admin do this too?

No. Admin can manage members, but cannot delete the workspace.
