Delete a task
I want to …
… remove a task for good.
Before you start
- Anyone who can edit content can delete.
- There is no trash. Attachments on the task go with it.
Here's how
- Open the task.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap
Delete. - Confirm the
Delete …?dialog. - You land back on the board. The card is gone.
- If you are unsure,
Duplicatefirst or move the card toDone.
The result
The task and its attachments are gone. Links in other texts point at nothing.
Common questions
Can I undo this?
No. There is no undo beyond the confirm dialog.
Is moving the card to Done enough?
For everyday use, yes. Delete only when the card should really disappear.
