Check storage

I want to …

… see how much storage the workspace uses and when it is getting tight.

Before you start

  • The meter sits in workspace settings, not in your personal profile.
  • Free uses 250 MB plus 250 MB per member. Pro and Ultra use GB per seat.

Here's how

  1. Open Settings in the current workspace.
  2. In the Workspace block the row shows used and available storage, for example 120 MB of 500 MB used.
  3. From about 80 percent a warning icon appears. New uploads may soon fail.
  4. When storage is full, Add attachment rejects with This workspace is out of storage.
  5. Free space by deleting attachments on tasks. Deleted files no longer count.

The result

You see use against quota and know when to remove files or change plan.

Common questions

Do notes count against storage?

The visible bar is for file uploads. Note text lives in the database and has its own count limits, not a GB bar.
