Change display name and avatar

I want to …

… change the name and avatar other people see in the workspace.

Before you start

  • Settings lives under Settings in the navigation, or at /settings without a workspace.

Here's how

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Profile is at the top. Tap the avatar row Change avatar.
  3. The dialog groups motifs: Rings, Dots, Neon, Bands, Lines. Tap one. It saves immediately.
  4. Change the name under Display name.
  5. Tap Save so the name is written. The avatar already saved when you tapped it.
  6. Others see the new name on cards, assignments, and the member list.

The result

Name and avatar are current. There is no photo upload, only the motif grid.

Common questions

Can I upload a photo?

No. Avatars are the fixed motifs in the five groups.
